Olivia Dean Themed Maxi Skirt Workshop

Everything you need for the workshop is included.

Spend the day sewing, listening to Olivia Dean and getting ready for her concert the following week.

In this one-day workshop, we will be making a floaty maxi skirt with an elasticated waist and pockets. It is a relaxed, beginner-friendly project and a lovely introduction to garment sewing if you have been wanting to make something you can wear straight away.

We will start by taking your measurements and working out the best size and length for you. From there, you will cut your fabric and sew your skirt from start to finish, learning how to construct in-seam pockets, sew an elastic waistband and finish a clean hem.

The workshop runs from 10am–4pm, with plenty of time to work through each step at a relaxed pace.

And, of course, we will have Olivia Dean playing throughout the day in preparation for the concert the following week.
