Barrel Leg Pants Workshop

Everything you need for the workshop is included.

This three-week course is beginner friendly and perfect if you love the barrel-leg trouser shape that is everywhere at the moment. It is a really fun project to build your confidence while making a pair of trousers you will actually want to wear.

Across the three weeks, we will work through the whole process from start to finish. We will begin by taking your measurements, choosing the best size for your body and learning how to read and prepare your sewing pattern. From there, you will cut your fabric before working through the construction of your trousers step by step.

You will learn how to sew and finish seams, construct pockets, create the curved barrel-leg shape and work through the waistband and finishing details. We will take our time across the three sessions, so there is plenty of space to ask questions and understand what you are doing along the way.

This is a great next project if you are fairly new to sewing, or if you have made a couple of simple projects and are ready to try making trousers.

Please note that workshop times are a guide and are based on the time usually needed to complete the garment. If you finish your project early, your workshop will finish then too. If you’re unwell and need to miss a session, please email me and we can arrange a suitable time for you to make it up.
