- Coe Trousers by Daughter Judy
Everything you need for this project will be provided for you.
The Coe Trousers are a high-waisted, full-length trouser with a curved waistband, front pockets, a subtly twisted side seam and a zip-fly closure. They are fitted through the waist and hips before falling into a relaxed leg.
Across the four-week course, you will learn how to take your measurements, choose the right size, make fitting adjustments and prepare your pattern before cutting. We will then work through the full construction process, including sewing the pockets, assembling and fitting the trousers, inserting a zip fly, attaching the curved waistband and finishing the hems.
The four-week format gives you time to learn each stage properly, try the trousers on as you go and make adjustments for a better fit. You will also build confidence working with trouser-weight fabrics and more detailed garment construction techniques.
Size range: 00-34 (US)
If you would prefer to BYO fabric, then please send me an email to confirm it will be suitable for the workshop selected.
Suitable for intermediate sewists
Please note that workshop times are a guide and are based on the time usually needed to complete the garment. If you finish your project early, your workshop will finish then too. If you’re unwell and need to miss a session, please email me and we can arrange a suitable time for you to make it up.
