Pleat Top Workshop

Everything you need for this project will be provided for you.

The Pleat Top is a relaxed, pull-on top with an asymmetric drape, four pleats through one side, a boat neckline, short dolman sleeves and an adjustable side slit. It is an approachable garment for newer sewists, while still introducing plenty of useful techniques.

Across the two sessions, you will learn how to take your own measurements, select the right pattern size, lay out and cut your fabric, mark the pleats and construct the garment from beginning to end. You will also learn how to sew full French seams for a clean finish inside the top, without needing an overlocker, and how to adjust the length of the side slit to suit your preference.
