12pm - 4pm

Bring along a project you’re working on and spend the afternoon sewing at Gather with other makers.

Sewcial Sewing Day is a relaxed, social session where you can work independently on your own project while enjoying the studio space, meeting other sewists and having a bit of company while you make.

You’ll have access to the big cutting table, sewing machines, overlockers and the studio tools, so it’s a great chance to spread out, get stuck into a project and make some progress without taking over your dining table at home.

There’s no formal teaching during this session, so it’s best suited to people who are comfortable working on their project independently, but I’ll be around if you need a quick bit of guidance.

Come on your own or bring a friend. The whole idea is to have a few hours to sew, chat, meet new people and enjoy making together.

Bring your own project, fabric, pattern and any specific notions you need, however you are welcome to use the machines at Gather as well as any notions you need :) 

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the afternoon.
