Industrial Sewing Machine Hire

Our Juki industrial sewing machine is available to hire by the hour and is best suited to intermediate sewers who are already confident using a domestic sewing machine.

Designed for straight stitching, it’s ideal for garment construction, topstitching, long seams and sewing through multiple layers of fabric. It runs faster and more powerfully than a domestic machine, while producing a clean, consistent stitch.

Your booking includes access to the Gather Studio space and our shared sewing equipment, including threads, needles, tape measures, machine feet, scissors, pins, marking tools, irons and overlockers (Huskylock).

You’ll need to bring the fabric and project you’re working on. A0 pattern printing is also available at the studio if needed for $7 per page.

Please note that this is an independent studio booking rather than a lesson. We are happy to show you how to get set up and use the machines, and someone will be on site to help with any quick questions. You should, however, feel comfortable working through your project independently. Bring your project, settle in and make use of the space.
