Domestic Machine Hire
4 machinesMin 1 hr
Included: Machines, cutting table and pressing station, irons and the usual studio tools. Bring your own fabric and pattern.
The Janome DC2150 is a computerised home sewing machine that is easy to get along with, whether this is your first time sewing or your hundredth.
It features 50 built-in stitches, three one-step buttonholes, adjustable stitch length and width, a needle up/down function, speed control and a built-in needle threader.
Your booking includes access to the Gather Studio space and our shared sewing equipment, including threads, needles, tape measures, machine feet, scissors, pins, marking tools, irons and overlockers (Huskylock).
You’ll need to bring the fabric and project you’re working on. A0 pattern printing is also available at the studio if needed for $7 per page.
Please note that this is an independent studio booking rather than a lesson. We are happy to show you how to get set up and use the machines, and someone will be on site to help with any quick questions. You should, however, feel comfortable working through your project independently. Bring your project, settle in and make use of the space.
