Christmas Stocking

Spend the day making your own set of two quilted Christmas stockings at Gather.

You’ll choose the size and shape you’d like to make, then work through the whole process from cutting and quilting your fabric to assembling and finishing each stocking.

It’s a great chance to play with colour, texture and fabric combinations. Keep them classic, go bright and playful, or make something completely your own.

During the workshop, you’ll learn how to layer and quilt fabric, create your stocking shape, add lining and finishing details, and put everything together for a neat, polished result.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with two finished stockings ready to hang at home or give as gifts.

Everything you need for the project will be provided, including fabric, batting, lining and all the tools and equipment we’ll be using.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and above. You should be comfortable using a sewing machine, but you don’t need any quilting experience.
